The Faculty of Law Career Development Office (CDO) has been running a mentorship program for several years which matches students with alumni working in a wide range of practice areas and settings, as well as with graduates using their degrees outside practice. Building on this popular program, the CDO launched in January 2024 the “Day in the Life” pilot program which will connect leading alumni with current law students. Through this “Day in the Life” initiative, selected students are paired with an alum and shadow them in their work for a day. It provides students with a better understanding of the inner workings of an area of law that they are interested in pursuing after school. It also aims to further build relationships between current students and alumni, and showcase the diversity of leadership among our alumni.
